Time evades us all. She’s our greatest nemesis. And having kids makes her even more vengeful. We see her in baby teeth that pop out overnight; pants that are suddenly too small… And though we crave for our littles to stay little, we know we can’t push her away forever. Because we need her. Feeling nostalgic this morning as I watch my kids play with legos and blocks. Tomorrow they’ll be big. They’ll leave this wonderful world of imagination and fairy tale and enter a rawer phase in their lives. They’ll be out of my reach in many ways, and though it hasn’t happened, I find myself mourning it already. So here’s to slowing down time. Here’s to loving on our babies and enjoying every single little thing. But first, coffee ☕️
